Changing your mindset to take back control of your health
You know that niggling feeling that you’re just not firing at 100%?, it’s the dull ache in your legs, or the not so dull ache in your lower back, or perhaps the realisation that getting upstairs is leaving you a little more breathless, and that just doing ‘life’ is getting harder.
We’ve all been there.
The thing is that by our very nature human beings are pleasure seekers. When we feel bad, or sad or depressed or anxious our immediate thought is how do I make this feeling go away. Rather than looking for an answer with longevity (cause this takes a bit of commitment and delayed results) we look for a quick bandaid, something immediate to make us feel better.

So instead of ignoring, minimising, repressing, avoiding and any other buzz word you can think off, flip it around and face your reality.
Taking back control is hard initially but even making the commitment to follow a plan, or prepare your meals, to lose a few kilos shifts the mind set.
A shift in mindset will lead you to a totally different place of being and feeling. That’s not saying that problems will no longer exist and life will be filled with rainbows and unicorns, but there is a very big difference in making decisions from a position of strength and feeling in control versus a position of feeling weak and depleted. You owe it to yourself to simply start moving towards healthy and happy.
