Set your boundaries and stick to them

Ever get the cold shoulder for politely declining Susan’s cupcakes at work? Or teased for saying no to another round of drinks on a Friday night?

Yeah. We’ve been there.

Sticking to healthy habits is hard enough without the open forum of discussion and eye rolls. Why is it such a big deal to other people what you eat (or dont eat) or the choices you make, especially now at this festive season?

For many of the loudest protesters or people with the strongest of opinions about your ‘boring, party pooper, vibe killing behaviour” they feel insecure or disappointed about their own health-related decisions, and quite probably that the festive season has in fact gotten the better of them already.

Practice saying no thank you in the mirror. Smile and simply say no thank you if that’s really how you feel. You don’t need to justify or defend your decisions. Don’t allow yourself to be bullied or guilted into doing something that you realty don’t want to do.

Peoples issues with your choices is 100% about them and really nothing to do with you. Set your boundaries and stick to them.  You will thank yourself for it later.
